A short glen, 190 feet deep
Dark: the Stony Brook glen, read along a 700-meter line. Pale: the other seven, same scale. Source for Dansville: USGS 3DEP, 10-meter.
Our section crosses the glen about halfway up, where its walls stand about 190 feet above the brook; the glen itself lies just over the county line in Steuben County. The trail inside the glen has stone steps and wet ledges and usually opens in late spring; the rim trails above it stay open longer.
